just a quick question for when im adding my new yoke bolt tomo.

Does the yoke bolt have a specific torque setting when your tightening it up?

Can you clarify the bolt definition?
Are referring to the nut that fastens the top yoke to the stem, the stem nut, or the bolts that secure the forks to the top yoke?

The top one, you see when you ride, 30mm tightens at 103Nm (76 lbf*ft) for SP1s and 137Nm (101 lbf*ft) for the SP2s

The castle nuts beneath the top yoke is another procedure you do when you tight the stem bearings.

cool. but is it ok to just take the old nut off and put a new one on without faffing around with anything else?

the old one is coming off, a shit load of cleaning and polishing will get done, then the new shiny bolt goes onto a nice cleaned shiny yoke. its purely for vanity

The pinch bolts for that top clamp that the forks slide into are 20 lbf-ft (26 N-m) in case you need that. Same as the pinch bolts in the bottom clamp.

I think you're referring to a nut not a bolt, PB?
