road, the PC5 cleaned up a lot of decel popping I was having.

did you even check the map? calibrate the throttle position sensor? i'm not even sure that these things ship with a map in them, in which case it's doing nothing at all?

No Sir, I did none of the above. There was nothing in the instructions on setting up any maps.
I was told it was plug-and-play from the seller, I do feel like a dumb ass though for not doing
more follow-up on the PC5, I ride Nicky every Sunday, weather permitting and she runs fantastic.
I have done the flapper mod, emissions removal, and all the other things I learned about here.
If in fact, my PC5 is currently doing nothing, all I can say is WOW!!! I can't wait to wake her up.
Glad I found this post, I also have a PC5 in my 07 954rr and my 18 KTM EXC-F 500 that I never messed with. I'm really hoping you are right about this

A Powercommander allows adjustment , to make it run correctly , it's not going to wake anything up.

I purchased new, I just plugged it into my laptop and it has the correct map installed, I must have done it and
forgot I did it, lmao. Old age gentleman is not for pussies.

Started my tail light super bright LED installation from scratch. Didn't have any lenses to cut up so I had to buy some. LED solutions has a great LED tail light kit that HeroRR did a diy on.

I did front brake pads fresh brake fluid then flushed the clutch fluid

Cleaned the front and rear calipers , installed the new 15/41 sprocket set after i had cleaned all the years worth of grime around the swingarm mounting and front drive sprocket. Also replaced the old air filters with new oe Honda ones.

Thanks for posting that, I need to do mine, as my riding buddies always tell me how it is impossible to see my lights, unless they are right behind me and it's not bright and sunny out...

One of my first mods, for safety, the difference in brightness is amazing. I like how Hero hollowed out the undertail lights to use them for the lenses, wish I did not through mine out now, lol
