I cleaned and inspected my bearings when I removed my swingarm during my engine swap out.
I found no roughness, deformation, or discoloration and they all seemed smooth when rotated.
So I replaced the seals and packed them with synthetic hi-pressure moly-based grease.
I still have the replacement bearings if I need them.
While chasing down some issues lately, I discovered the linkage had come unhooked on the front starter valve. I managed to fix it without removing the throttlebody assembly, but I'm having a confusing time trying to sync it with the factory preset rear starter valve.
Maybe I'm doing something...
I'm getting an irritating misfire when I'm working the bike hard in the canyons and mountain roads.
Bike temp is averaging 180F, and it starts happening at about 3000 feet elevation.
I live at sea level, but I've been riding my bike in these same areas for years, this problem is new. Same PC3r...
I have a 2000 SP1 and the previous owner had removed the rear passenger pegs and brackets. I have found pegs for sale quite easily but finding brackets seems near impossible! Any advice? Are there generic brands or another year CBR or something that would fit?
Hope everyone is safe out there.
A quick query. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement yellow Honda sticker that sits on the back of the cowl on the SP1? Mines always had a chip out of it and it’s annoying me now!!
