Getting ready to do the Spal 5.2 fan mod. First collecting all the peices. I desire to install as clean as OEM. Desire not to solder wires and tape/shrink tube existing plug pigtail. Awaiting Honda dealer to check availability of OEM pigtail parts i.e. blades and plastic outers. Looking to purchase Spal fan from A1 Electric or the Fan Man. Both companies are not familiar with pigtail resemblance to Honda OEM plugs or inner brass connectors. I have searched. One thread, the member said that he took a needle or pin to remove Spal inner brass connectors from behind the plug to remove from housing and they actally inserted/plugged right into the stock Honda plastic outer plastic plug and locked in. It almost seems to good to be true with so many connectors out there AMP, MOLEX, Duetsch / Japanese brands i.e. Hosiden, SMK, Yazaki. Of all the threads I have read on the Spal 5.2 fan mod, not much detailed info on this issue. It seems most just solder and tape the stock pigtail or some motorcycle specific suppliers have already installed the Honda OEM plug. Anyone have answers or guidance. Much appreciated.

FYI my Honda Dealer her in Jax found them in the "tools" section of the Honda Parts database for dealers. Have to match by picture/likeness to your particular need. No application by attached part. The have all the plastic connectors and inner brass parts etc

Easternbeaver.com is good guy to work with, I bought some connectors a while back. The problem I've been having is finding a crimping tool, specifically one that is not $100.

I purchased some of these:

But I cannot find a crimping tool to get a correct crimp.
Jim at easter beaver is a good guy, he helped me figure out what pins I needed for the ECU. A lot of emails back and forth.

I wasn't able to find the right crimp tool either, so I did the best I could with needle noise and then soldered them.

Are you talking about the ECU on the RC? If so, which ones are they? I have yet find them.

Yep, I got the F040 Terminal #F040-1.

I also got the HM/MT seals and plugs, these were a little too big for the wire/terminal but with a little fiddling I got them to work.
