just watched the race.........incredible. Jerez in the rain. One of the most entertaining races i've seen in awhile. 5 riders crashed out. Rossi crashed and took Stoner out....got back on and finished 5th. Edwards went off the track while in 3rd place on THE LAST LAP. If you did not see the race YOU NEED TO. Filled with surprises. Aboslutely awesome. Nice to see Hayden on podium as well.

1st Lorenzo
2nd Pedrosa
3rd Hayden

It was an awesome race to watch. Every time i turned around another person was on the ground. It was not about what position you finished in… it was about if you finished. Good stuff.

yeah definitely. most of the crashes were some of the front runners. definitely is going to make the rest of the season more competitive now.

Just watched it. If I were Stoner I would be so pissed. Not so much at VR (even though I think that was a bonehead move) but at the corner workers who all gathered around VR and completely ignored Stoner while he was trying to get his bike going again. It was a great race though. I only wish Spies had chilled out and be happy with 2nd. I want to see if their is any footage of the post race interviews.

Just like F1, the best races are the wet ones.
Rossi has apologized with the camera's present so Stoner can't go off on his excuses without looking bad unlike the great one who committed the rookie error with the Duc's achilles heel front end loss.
Hopkins played it cool and did Suzuki a good turn.
This makes it real hard to beat Lorenzo for the title without someone doing him wrong.
Stoner will be okay and will return the favor.
Tires going off in the drying conditions caught many out in the end.
Haydens podium will give him a boost to carry on with the Duc for the rest of the season without much hope to win in a straight fight.
Just hope WSB will have a HD broadcast outside of the USA Miller event.

Got to agree with you on the marshalls who dusted off Vale & left Stoner till after(Being an Aussie an all). Good quote from Stoner to Rossi in the pits though -"Your ambition exceeded your ability".
Or maybe Rossi just put it under Stoner to ask him how the hell did he ride that Ducati so fast & how do you stop the front end going ?

I agree, the marshalls were terrible. Apparently quite a few riders had complaints against them. Casey got screwed but i don't think he did himself any favors the way he reacted. He's already got a reputation (whether its true or not) for being a whiner and being a snooty guy. Him going on the grass and clapping as Rossi went by the next lap, him making the ax gesture to the marshalls, and his remark towards Vale are not going to win him any fans. Yes, he was pissed and had the right to be......but i don't think making a remark on talent to a guy who's proved 9 times he has plenty of it was the right reaction.

As for Vale i think this bike is humbling him.....or at least it should be. I don't think well hear any remarks about Casey from him anymore.

No I agree, Casey wont do himself any favours with these gestures. But if you put it into perspective that it was done in the heat of racing & if you race you know that the red mist can take away the diplomatic thought process.
Casey is young , still learning & has a great future ahead.
Great to see Nickey get the podium also. Hope that gives him some more confidence to go for it.

This will be a Great Year of racing !!

i loved Nicky's interview.....the guy is so genuine. completely humble about it stating the only reason he won was cause of the rain and crashes. I would REALLY like to see him take another championship. I think Simoncelli has some great potential, i'd like to see him win at least one race. Jerez might have been his shot......
